The first handmade carpet conference of Markazi province was held on 2019/Dec/04 with the presence of the head of the National Carpet Center of Iran, the governor of Markazi province, people’s representatives in the Islamic Consultative Assembly and a group of pioneers of handmade carpets.

At the conference, some of the officials talked about the problems of the handmade carpet of Arak and then handmade carpet protagonists were homaged.

In the vicinity of the conference, an exhibition of Farahan handmade carpets was held in the lobby of the governorate, which drew the attention of many of the conference’s invitees and staff. Respected executives and officials also visited the exhibition.
